派拉蒙电视网公布了新剧《美国女性》（American Woman）的首个预告片。该剧曾在TV Land获得直接剧集预订，订数为12集。派拉蒙电视网明年初开通后，该剧将转到派拉蒙电视网播出。剧情根据《比佛利娇妻》（The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills）核心人物Kyle Richards的真实成长经历改编，由John Wells和John Riggi制片，前者负责撰写剧本。故事设定在上世纪七十年代，在那个性革命和女权主义刚刚兴起的年代，主人公Bonnie Nolan（Alicia Silverstone）是个四十多岁的女人，有一套漂亮的房子和两个美丽的女儿，但是她的婚姻很失败（丈夫在外面偷情）。孑然一身的她面临一种尴尬的困境：她是个没有任何谋生手段的单身女人，如果不想点办法，她根本无法养活自己和女儿……但性格倔强的她执...。Wille has always dreamed of becoming a superhero and fight crime alongside his father.
