While on a hunting trip in the isolated wilderness, a father and his adopted teenage son are turned into the prey of unknown assailants. They are unexpectedly joined in their fight for survival by a stranger who reveals the disturbing truth about the son's biological father, an international crime lord, and why that crime lord has sent trained assassins to kill the teenager.。札幌署から片山刑事(武田鉄矢)のいる弘前署に二人の刑事がやってきた。2年前に札幌で起きた現金輸送車襲撃事件の際に、現場に唯一残され手がかりである一粒のりんごの種の分析を依頼しに来たのだった。早速りんご試験場で種の栽培を依頼した片山は、所員の忍(園みどり)と恋に落ちる。問題のりんごの種から芽が出て双葉が開くころ、忍は「紫色の花が咲けば素晴らしい」という謎の言葉を片山に残して輸送車襲撃事件の犯人グループに殺されてしまう。犯人は北海道にいると睨み札幌へと向かった片山だが…。。
